Butter Brickle by Kay

I learned how to make Butter Brickle from a friend of mine, and have probably been making it for forty years now. It’s always been a big hit with my kids, grandkids, and even my great-grandkids now, not to mention friends and neighbours. I’ve even had a few people ask for the recipe over the years, and it’s something I still make for family dinners. Even my sisters love it.

I always make it pretty much as the recipe has it, but you can experiment with it. I’ve tried chocolate and caramel sauce, which turned out pretty good, but everyone seems to like the plain caramel the best. It’s still one of my go-to recipes, even now.
